With this motto, on May 15-17 Ukrainian Youth Festival "Through the lens of a nature lover”, dedicated to the International Year of Forests, will be held in Uzhgorod.

The host of the festival was the Transcarpathian Regional Ecological and Naturalistic Center of Studying Youth. The head of State Administration of Regional Organization of Trade Unions (ROTU) in Transcarpathian region Andrei Pogorelov sent his congratulations to the participants "There is no nobler thing than protection of the environment. Now the work have been presented by the nature lovers, whose lenses caught unique moments in the life of nature. The ability to see the beauty of the morning dew, rays of the sun, the height of the mountains and the majesty of the bird’s flight is a real art. Nature is an inexhaustible source of beauty, it evokes in us the best feelings. Love of nature helps a person become kinder, more responsible. Festival "Through the lens of a nature lover," which is being held in Transcarpathia, gathered the children who are able to observe, to think, to make "discoveries" – this is about the emotional atmosphere too, which is needed in the minds of children for them to care for the environment. Share such a mood with your friends, family and relatives, agitate for respect for nature!"

The festival participants were students of secondary, vocational and extracurricular educational institutions from all regions, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Kiev – the winners of regional rounds of competitions for the best video, best slide film, best photographs. The festival program is full of tours, meetings with television journalists, local artists. Workshops on the preparation of specific television programs, video and photo on environmental topics were also organized for the participants.
Awarding of winners will take place on May 17 at the regional center of aesthetic and artistic creativity of students PADIUN. ROTU public administration in Transcarpathian region has prepared prizes for the winners and participants of the festival.
