First they checked the second-hand store on the second floor of the building on Fedynets Square. Inspector Mykola writes a remark: there is no spacing marks in front of the entrance. Up to 20 people are allowed to be inside – one per 10 square meters – and everyone must be wearing masks. Store employees do wear masks ad also gloves.
Buyers say that they approve of such inspections: all people are wearing masks, keeping their distance.
In addition to this store, they checked second-hand shops nearby – on Koryatovych Square. There is a memo about safety rules on the door. Inspectors checked whether workers have their body temperature measured before starting work. The store’s saleswoman Maria Malosh said that temperature screening is carried out only for the store staff: "In total, there can be 28 people on 2 floors. We cleaned every 3 hours, because it needs to be done. Cleaning of lockers, door handles, counter is mandatory."
During the inspections, no second-hand stores on Koryatovych and Fedynets squares were fined. Inspectors only gave warnings and recommendations.
According to inspectors, visitors who refuse to wear masks in a public place shall be fined 17 thousand hryvnias or more. Employees and owners of establishments who fail to comply with anti-epidemic measures shall be fined 34 thousand hryvnias or more.
