In a week, on the night of 12th to 13th of August, we will all be able to observe the maximum activity of a magnificent natural phenomenon – the meteoric flow of Perseids.
Provided the weather is cloudless, people will be able to see many "shooting stars" and, of course, make wishes. According to the forecasts of the World Meteorological Organization, up to 20 meteors per hour are expected.
Although the Moon on that day will be shining quite brightly, and because of that, many meteors will not be seen. But will that stop true romantics?
Tip: In order to see as many meteors as possible, you need to watch closely the southeast part of the sky, a little to the south of the Cassiopeia constellation.
