Uzhgorod is getting ready for the Memorial Day, which is celebrated on November 1. 

Schedule of memorial services at cemeteries in Uzhgorod on the Memorial Day

Cemetery "Barvinok". From the 13.00 to 15.00;

Cemetery "Kalvaria" – from 15.00 to 17.00;

Cemetery near the Church of the Annunciation – from 10.00 to 12.00;

neighborhood "Domanyntsi" – from 10.00 to 17.00;

neighborhood "Radvanka" – from 13.00 to 15.00;

neighborhood "Horyany" (at the upper cemetery) – from 13.00 to 14.30; (a the lower cemetery) – from 14.30 to 16.00;

neighborhood "Dravtsi" (at the new cemetery) – from 14.00 to 15.00; (at the old cemetery) – from 15.30 to 17.00;

neighborhood "Shakhta" – from 15.00 to 17.00.

Also, October 31 (Monday). at 17.30, in the Cathedral, there will be the Bishop Liturgy headed by Bishop Milan. After the Liturgy, at 18.30, there will be the Memorial service near the memorial plaque to repressed clergy (parishioners are asked to come at the memorial service with candles).

On Tuesday November 1. at 9.15, in the Cathedral, there will be the Bishop Commemoration Mass.

Also, at 10 o’clock, the Bishop memorial service in the crypt under the Cathedral will start.

At 11 o’clock, there will be the Memorial service at the tomb of Bishop Oleksandr Stoyka in the museum of folk architecture.
