Sberbank of Russia in Uzhgorod was poured with paint by Ratushniak’s pocket organization? (Statement)

The organization "Resistance Front" sent to the site the following statement:

"The occupier’s banks have no right to extort money from Transcarpathians.

Today, we did an action against the branch of Sberbank in Uzhgorod. Our activists doused the bank building with red paint symbolizing the blood of those Ukrainians killed at the hands of Russian invaders. Recently, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Oleg Makhnitsky reported that Russian commandos in Ukraine were financed through Sberbank of Russia. However, it was only a statement and we do not see any decisive actions: the bank is still working, in particular in Transcarpathia, and takes money from our countrymen.

We also encourage Transcarpathians to boycott Russian banks, because otherwise you fund Russian terrorists who are taking over our country and kill our citizens. We must not finance the enemy country! We will defeat the invaders!

Glory to Ukraine", – the statement reads.

Patriotic or rather pseudopatriotic pathos is one thing. But, obviously, such a strange and not very effective campaign was held with the aim to draw attention to the organization that is memorable only with flags at a rally and provocative calls to storm Uzhgorod city council. Perhaps the organization, that is associated with the name of the ex-mayor of Uzhgorod Serhiy Ratushniak, is haunted by the fame of the Right sector.

For now, the "Resistance Front" (which did not participate in the revolutionary events, as well as in the most difficult times of struggle in the region) has just created another "picture" for information war with Russia.
