The picturesque village of Sil in Velykyi Bereznyi district celebrated the Day of the village on Sunday. Welcomed visitors became residents of the regional center and the neighboring villages. All with interest examined the exhibition of pieces and works of folk craftsmen, actively supported amateur artists and professional performers (among them was especially memorable Mykhailo Tsyfra who was playing the saxophone). People with pleasure tasted delicious kettle goulash, prepared by Vasyl Kopcha, cold beer and kvass, and popular among children was sweet cotton.
– We are thankful to our village head Vasyl Opalenyk – said older woman, the guest of the festival – for the last year’s and this year’s holiday…
The apogee of all the joy and pleasant rest became the evening fireworks.
