Since October, residents of Transcarpathia have been able to buy LPG in cylinders again. In October, after a six-month break, the region began receiving gas cylinders purchased at reduced prices at specialized auctions. Every month, Transcarpathia requires at least 180 tons of liquefied natural gas, in October it received only 42 tons. The wholesale price of a cylinder (21 kg) was 170 UAH.
To date, 188 villages out of 650 are still not gasified. In Rakhiv district, not a single village has gas.
