Sakura or not? Uzhgorod residents themselves will decide what trees will be growing on Petofi Square

Ambra tree, laburnum, maple, argan tree, even "false soapberry tree", and, of course, sakura. This is the list of trees for voting.

Until October 25, Uzhgorod citizens may vote for trees to be planted on Petrofi Square: a new public consultation starts today in the regional center of Transcarpathia.

Uzhgorod City Council wants to know the citizens’ opinion on what species of trees should be planted on Sandor Petofi Square.

The consultation will last until October 25 inclusive. You can vote online or via SMS by following the instructions in the photo.
