Floral art in the Saint-Miklos is the history of the castle, where the eternal love of Ilona Zrinyi and Imre Thokoly reigns, that is why the Association of Florists of Ukraine has chosen this place for the flower festival. The flower festival finished on Sunday with the reenactment of the wedding of Ilona Zrinyi and Imre Thokoly.
These days, roses dominate in the decor of the Saint-Miklos castle. The participants are not only from Ukraine, but also from Lithuania, Estonia, Azerbaijan, Poland, Hungary, Russia and China.
The opening of the Florist Festival was attended by the royal couple from the Habsburg dynasty – Sandor and Gertha-Margaret Habsburg-Lothringen.
In total, this year, 20,000 flowers in 14 arrangements were presented.
