Exhibitions of painting and photos, book presentations, conertds of romance and folk songs – these events were organized by the Carpathian Association of Romanian-Ukrainian Cooperation Maramures-Solotvyno with the support of the CIR and the Romanian Consulate.

And now, there is another important achievement: on 03.06.2019, the Summer School opens in Solotvyno, where they will teach the Romanian language using innovative didactic methods – a project funded by the Ministry of Foreign Romanians in cooperation with Solotvyno secondary school №. 2, teachers from the left and right banks of the Tisa. This is an educational program aimed at children from grades 1-6 of Romanian villages in Transcarpathia.

It should be noted that the village of Solotvyno is populated by Romanians, Ukrainians, Hungarians and other ethnic groups. The place can become a good example for the whole of Ukraine, because the residents of the village speak many languages.
