Rivis: children should have interesting, exciting and safe holidays

Amendments to the Regional program of rehabilitation and recreation for children and development 
of a network of children’s rehabilitation and recreation institutions for 2014 – 2017 are submitted for 
consideration of Transcarpathian deputies.
As the Department of Youth and Sports of the RSA emphasizes, part-load of children’s rehabilitation 
facilities in Transcarpathian region can reduce the number of operating institutions. One way to 
prevent this is to support these institutions by sending our young countrymen for rehabilitation 
there.
The adopted decision of the Regional Council "On amendments to the Regional program of 
rehabilitation and recreation for children and development of a network of children’s rehabilitation 
and recreation institutions for 2014 – 2017" will promote quality and safe recreation of children, the 
preservation and development of the network of children’s rehabilitation and recreation in 
Transcarpathia institutions. Moreover, this decision does not require financial resources.
– Children should have interesting, exciting and safe holidays, and obviously it can be provided to 
them here. Therefore, the deputies will support this initiative, – the Chairman of the Regional Council 
Mykhailo Rivis said.
