“Rights and responsibilities” – the national campaign from the STI (PHOTOS)

November 7, 2013, at the Taxpayer Service Center of the STI in Uzhgorod, the Head of the Office of the Ministry of Income Vasyl Ivancho held a presentation of the booklet "Rights and Responsibilities" emphasizing that understanding the rights and obligations is a reliable basis for cooperation and understanding between taxpayers and the Ministry of Income authorities.

Specialists of the STI in Uzhgorod continue to conduct nationwide campaign "Rights and Responsibilities" and every day hand out brochures to taxpayers. The purpose of the event is to raise public awareness of their rights and responsibilities, guaranteed by law.

The head of the STI in Uzhgorod Maria Badyda noted that the brochure is interesting and useful, as there are sections that contain key excerpts from the legislation in it. Taxpayers can learn both about their rights and obligations and about the rights and obligations of supervising bodies officials.

According to experts of the STI in Uzhgorod, with this brochure, payers will be able to assert their rights when dealing with tax service employees, especially in cases of possible corruption. In particular, the brochure contains the telephone number of the anticorruption service of the Ministry "Pulse" by which taxpayers can complain about the illegal actions of the agency employees.
