On the procedure for crossing the state border of Ukraine in the outbreak of COVID-19 respiratory disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus

On March 17, 2020, 00 hours 00 minutes, the border crossing points of Ukraine for air, railway and bus transport will close for the next two weeks. Checkpoints will be open for citizens of Ukraine traveling by private transport.

The NSDC asks all citizens of Ukraine to return by March 17, 2020.

In case of emergencies, Ukrainian citizens will be delivered by special flights.

On March 16, 2020, 00 hours 00 minutes, for the next two weeks, the entry into the territory of Ukraine will be prohibited for foreigners and stateless persons, with the exception of persons who are entitled to permanent or temporary residence in the territory of Ukraine, and – under certain decisions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine – accredited employees of diplomatic missions, consular posts, representations of international organizations, etc.
