Retro cars will arrive to Transcarpathia – a rally will take place

The unique event known as the Zemplin Rally of Veterans will be held on June 25-26 with the support of the Transcarpathian Regional Council and the Kosice Self-governing Territory of Slovakia. More than 100 retro cars will come from Michalovce district to Uzhgorod.
The adviser to the chairman of the regional council Oleksandr Bilak received the delegation headed by the deputy chief of the Michalovce local police Marcel Medvid. The delegation also included: Ladislav Mrug – the deputy chief of the patrol police, Mikulas Kosco – the chairman of the Zemplin Veterans Club and members of the Club – Jozef Makogus, Matus Karas, Maria Kasicova.
The meeting was attended by the head of the Patrol Police Office in Transcarpathian region Yuriy Martsenyshyn.
During the talks, they discussed the organizational issues of the rally and the program of its participants’ visit to Transcarpathia.
– This fascinating event was held for the first time in Uzhgorod last year and since it lasted only a few hours, many people did not have time to see the retro exhibits, the oldest one being 86, – O. Bilak said, adding that this year this extraordinary event will last longer, thus more fans of retro vehicles will be able to enjoy this rare sight.
