On May 20-21, fencing competitions among men within the World Cup round took place in the French capital

According to the FFU, the leader of the national team Bogdan Nikishin showed the best result. He finished on the 19th place, Anatoliy Herey from Uzhgorod – on the 47th.

Today, May 22, the national teams are competing. Anatoliy Herey is fencing for the Ukrainian team. The team started the competition in TAB 16 defeating the team of Poland – 30:21. The next rivals were the team of Venezuela. In an uneasy, tense, nervous match, our athletes beat the Venezuelans – 20:19. In the semifinal, the Ukrainians will fence with the national team of Israel (13:30, "green" track). In the second semifinal, France and Poland will be competing.
