At the building of the regional council and the regional administration, workers are installing metal doors restored after the storm in February during the Revolution of Dignity. Masters restored metal sections, decorative details, reproduced authentic handled. Overall, 3 pairs of dual, swing doors needed reconstruction, ie, they had to restore 6 "halves". The project of reconstruction was developed by experts from the Czech Republic. Local experts, who were engaged in practical completion of the reconstruction, also contributed.
The initiator of the restoration of the damaged doors was the former Chairman of the Regional Council Ivan Baloha. This spring, he suggested deputies Regional Council to restore them at common expense – without budget funding.
According to the Chairman of the Regional Council Volodymyr Chubirko they managed to collect the required amount – the money was given by deputies of all factions without exception, the management of the Regional Council and MP Ivan Baloha. "On Sunday, the workers "tried on" the door. The quality of the work is on a decent level. Perhaps, it was somewhat delayed, but the promise was fulfilled – the entrance to the main building of the region will be in proper condition" – the chairman of the council summed up.
