Residents of Mukachevo and Svalyava handed over ammunition to the police

The month of voluntary surrender of weapons in the region continues. Citizens have the opportunity to voluntarily surrender unregistered weapons and ammunition to the police, thus avoiding criminal liability.

A 41-year-old resident of the village of Chynadiyevo appealed to Mukachevo district police. The man voluntarily surrendered to the police ammunition, namely 5 handgun rounds of 9 mm caliber, two 7,62 mm machine gun rounds, three 5,6 mm rounds, a noise cartridge and a plastic box with a hunting gunpowder. According to the applicant, he had found the ammunition in a park near the river in his native village.

13 Kalashnikov rounds of 7.62 mm were handed over to the police by a 39-year-old resident of the village of Pavlovo in Svalyava district. The man said that he had found the ammunition in the woods while picking mushrooms.

The police seized all the ammunition. They will be later destroyed.

Recall that during the month of voluntary surrender of weapons, which now continues in the region, citizens can voluntarily get rid of unregistered weapons and ammunition. In this way, you will avoid criminal charges for illegal possession of weapons.
