Rescuers told Uzhgorod and Mukachevo residents how to rest on the water safely

Specialists of the Rescue Service have carried out preventive activities to stop the tragic statistics of people dying in the water, the press service of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region reported. On August 15, Uzhgorod and Mukachevo rescuers went to the most popular recreation spots on water bodies to explain the people the rules of safety on the water. Uzhgorod rescuers were working on the embankment of the Uzh river, and Mukachevo rescuers visited the water bodies of the villages of Klynovets and Verkhniy Koropets. The rescuers handed out leaflets explaining the rules of conduct on the water. Citizens were taught how to save a drowning person and provide first aid.
