Rescuers found in the mountains two tourists from the Czech Republic, who had got lost

Rescuers received a report that two citizens of the Czech Republic, residents of the cities of Brno and Popice both born in 1970 had got lost in the forest area near the village of Sil in Velyky Berezny district.

Three rescuers of Uzhgorod search and rescue department and one unit of equipment were employed in search and rescue work.

Rescuers found the Czech citizens in the forest. They did not need medical assistance. Then, the rescuers accompanied them to the settlement, from where they continued their journey on their own.

Since the beginning of the year, specialists of the mountain search and rescue department have received 151 calls for rescue and search works and rescued 235 people. 79 citizens were provided with qualified first aid.
