Every warm season, Transcarpathians go to the forests to rest. But people often do not consider that their own negligence can lead to massive forest fires. It can be caused by just one match or cigarette butt, let alone a bonfire left unattended. Hundreds of trees and animals die because of that.
To avoid damaging the environment, follow the simple rules of fire safety. When on a picnic in the forest, make fire only in designated areas without using flammable substances. Do not throw burning matches or cigarette butts on the ground, and do not go far from the fire. Before returning home, pour water or dirt on the fire.
Think about the future of your children, because forests are the lungs of Transcarpathia. And without them, our land will suffocate!
