Repairs of bridges on international roads have started in Transcarpathia

These days, the Road Service has begun repairs of small bridges on international roads within Transcarpathian region. The works are being carried out in several locations. Thus, on the motorway M-24 "Mukachevo – Beregovo – checkpoint "Luzhanka", which leads to the border with Hungary, the bridge between the villages of Strabychovo and Chomonyn (Mukachevo district) is being repaired.

Unlike the roads, which at least have been patched from time to time, the bridges have not been repaired since they were put into operation, which is 50-60 years ago. During this period, the traffic load has increased significantly, therefore, many small bridges are in an poor condition.
