Repaired Uzhgorod streets with damaged roadway will be inspected

The media, including Facebook, recently shared many reports about holes and other damage recorded in the asphalt on recently repaired streets.

Uzhgorod City Council reacted to these facts.

The head of the Department of Minicipal Economy of Uzhgorod City Council has prepared an order on commission inspection of Sobranetska, Zakarpatska, Peremoha streets, and others, which were repaired in 2016. The commission will consist of experts from the department of transport, public procurement and communications, the department of technical supervision and representatives of the contractor that performed the work. As you know, under the contract, the contractor bears warranty obligations and must correct all defects at its own expense.
 Also, the Mayor is preparing an order to establish a commission that, once weather permitting, will conduct a comprehensive inspection of all the streets in Uzhgorod.
