Repair of the highway to the tourist sights of Mukachevo district has begun… and immediately stopped (PHOTOS)

The major repair of the road "Kolchino – Puznyakivtsi" has begun in Transcarpathia.

This is stated on the official site of the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal. On Wednesday, October 11, road builders began to lay solid asphalt on the highway "Kolchino – Puznyakivtsi" leading to the most attractive recreational areas of the Mukachevo district.   

Today, the Romanian firm was forced to suspend work on the road "Kolchino – Puznyakivtsi" due to shortage of asphalt. New asphalt and concrete factories, that have opened in Transcarpathia over the past two years, are ready to produce the required amount of raw materials, but due to lack of consumables supplied to Transcarpathia from other regions of Ukraine, they are working at minimum capacities. Consumables are not delivered to Transcarpathia due to lack of railway cars and locomotives. The regional leadership is preparing an appeal to the Prime Minister of Ukraine on this matter.
