During the first plenary meeting of the fourteenth session of the Regional Council, the deputies supported the request of their colleague Volodymyr Roman on the necessity of restoration of the church in the village of Sokyrnytsya.
"The community of the village of Sokyrnytsya in Khust region appealed to me, as a deputy of the regional council, regarding the need to renovate the Church of St. Nicholas, which is located in the village. This wooden church is an architectural monument of national importance, and one of the symbols of Transcarpathia. Given the importance of this issue, it is proposed to allocate funds from the regional budget for these works," – the deputy’s inquiry states.
The document has been submitted for consideration to the regional state administration.
