Apparently, in response to publicity, which was the result of our publication that regional authorities were going to rent out the premises of the closed orphanage in the village of Bene, the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration have changed their plans.
The Regional State Administration have decided against renting out part of the premises of the orphanage in the village of Bene in Beregovo district, which was closed last autumn. In Saturday’s issue of the regional community newspaper "Novyny Zakarpattya" dated January 11, № 3-4, on p. 4, there is an announcement of the communal property department of the RSA about cancellation of the tender for rental of regional communal property – the building of the former orphanage at Rakoczy st., 62 in the village of Bene in Beregovo district. It concerns the premises in area of 132 square meters.
Recall that the regional institution was liquidated last year at the initiative of the Party of Regions faction in the Regional Council. The vacated buildings were planned to transfer from the ownership of the region to Beregovo district, followed by the creation of a kindergarten. However, this has not been done.
