On January 13, at 15:00, the XXI festival "Red Wine" will be officially opened in the city "Peremoha" park. Before that – at 14:00 – the solemn procession will start marching from the city Christmas tree. Near the city Christmas tree, there will be a theatrical performance with the participation of actors of the Transcarpathian Drama and Comedy Theater which will finish in the "Peremoha" park.
Top 40 winemakers of the region, which were selected by a special tasting commission, will take part in the festival-contest.
The festival town with wooden houses was built in the park.
The organizers have prepared an eventful cultural program. On the first day, carols will be performed for the guests, participants of the caroling festival "Rolling Bag" will be performing on the stage. The Honorary Academic Transcarpathian Folk Choir and several groups from towns and districts of the region will also perform.
On 18.00, a concert program will begin on the stage with the participation of leading artists and bands including Serhiy Pallah, Olga Svyda, Lyudmyla Kovacs, the band "Brevis", the band "Flying Swan" and many others.
And at 23.59, the countdown to the Old New Year will begin!
