Transcarpathian customs officers detained a truck with 40 thousand euros worth of walnuts. The vehicle was detained at the customs office "Dyakovo" of the Transcarpathian Customs.
The offense was duly recorded, a report on the violation of the customs rules was drawn up, – the SFS in Transcarpathian region reported.
At present, the violation of the customs rules, as provided for in Part 1 of Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine, was recorded in the report on violation of the customs rules. In particular, the head of the sender company, the owner of the nuts, is charged with actions aimed at the transportation of goods across the customs border of Ukraine with concealment from customs control, by submitting to the customs authority forged documents and documents obtained by criminal means.
On the basis of Article 511 of the Customs Code of Ukraine, walnuts without shell, weighing almost 20 tons, were seized.
