Reciters are invited to participate in the regional competition “My Spring”

On May 27, at 11.00, in Serednye children’s art school in Uzhgorod district, there will be the regional reciting competition "My Spring".

The creative competition is organized by the Department of Culture of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, the Department of Culture of Uzhgorod District State Administration and the regional organizational and methodical center of culture, co-organized by the Association of creative women of Transcarpathia "New Form".

The purpose of the contest is the identification and promotion of original works by Ukrainian and Transcarpathian writers and poets, original author-performers, establishment of creative contacts with representatives of public and cultural organizations and creative unions.

Reciters of cultural institutions of the region, pupils and students of secondary and higher educational institutions, performers, members of poetry studios, literary theaters and amateur theater groups are invited to take part in the contest. The winners will be determined in four categories: poetry, prose, humor, performance of original works.

Competition requirements:

1.         In the "Poetry" category, the performance of national-patriotic poems is mandatory.

2.         In the "Poetry" category it is preferrable to perform poem by I.Irlyavsky or other Transcarpathian poet.

3.         Each reciter should send an application for participation in the competition with the performance program.

4.         Duration of the performance should not exceed 10 minutes.

No restrictions as to the age of contestants.
