Reception of applications for the National Competition “Charitable Ukraine – 2019” has been announced

The Ukrainian Philanthropists Association announces the active phase of the National Competition "Charitable Ukraine-2019". The competition is open and is aimed at supporting projects, it takes place annually.
The purpose of the competition is to support and develop effective socially-oriented charity and volunteering in Ukraine by publicly encouraging the best philanthropists and volunteers, their organizations and practices.
The objectives of the Contest are: to promote charity and volunteerism, their organizations and effective practices; to honor the best philanthropists and volunteers, their organizations and good practices, other collectives and organizations that have implemented significant charitable projects and campaigns in Ukraine during the reporting year; to inform the society about the best practices of charity; to promote and encourage citizens to charity and volunteerism.
The competition is open to philanthropists / volunteers who provided charitable assistance to solve social problems in the period from January 1 to December 31, 2019; charitable projects (initiatives), the implementation of which was carried out during the specified period; public institutions, which conducted activities aimed at developing and supporting charity in Ukraine during this period, benefactors, representatives of the media.
Applications for participation in the competition can be submitted directly by the benefactors themselves, charity aid recipients, and any non-governmental organizations and individuals (except government, local government bodies and political parties), regardless of citizenship, who are interested in developing and promoting charitable initiatives.

REFERENCE. The National Competition "Charititable Ukraine" is an annual competition established by the All-Ukrainian Charitable Organization "Ukrainian Philanthropists Association" to develop effective socially-oriented charity, philanthropy and volunteerism in Ukraine by publicly encouraging the best philanthropists and volunteers.
