Recently, Transcarpathia has received new distinguished artists, performers and cultural workers of Ukraine

On November 9, on the occasion of the All-Ukrainian Day of workers of culture and folk art masters, the President Poroshenko signed the decree, whereby almost one hundred creatives throughout Ukraine were honored with state awards for significant contribution to the development of national culture and art, significant creative achievements and professional excellence. The awards are the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, the Order of Princess Olga, the Order of Daniel Galician and the Order "For Merit" (of different levels) and the honorary titles of "People’s" and "Honored" in several cultural and artistic activities.

Among the award recipients, there are three Transcarpathians. Craftswoman Larysa Brovdi was awarded with the title of the "Honored Artist of Ukraine," the actress of the Transcarpathian Academic Puppet Theater Svitlana Kobzysta from now on is the "Honored Performer of Ukraine" and the teacher Uzhgorod State Music College Nadia Pidhorodska is the "Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine."
