This year’s holiday of shepherds return from the Carpathian meadows is scheduled for September 1-2. This was reported by Turinfotsentr with the reference to Rakhiv district council. The festival will be attended by delegations of professional cheese makers and Folk Art Masters of Transcarpathia and neighboring regions, representatives of executive authorities, local government, creative and public associations, organizations and tourists from abroad.
Festive performance will be accompanied by exhibitions of Rakhiv district artists I. Doroban and festival – fair, holiday passage columns, the official opening of ‘Hutsul brynza’ ignition of mountain valley campfire, competition for the best trembita, sopilka, kolomiyka performance and Hutsul dishes cooking.
