Today, there was the session of Rakhiv District Council, where among the main issues they considered the appeal of Kosivska Polyana village community. The people demanded to immediately stop the activities of the "Maramorosh" LLC and to inspect the company and the firm carrying out exploration work. The villagers noted the unacceptability of any exploration works without the community’s consent. In case of failure to fulfill their demands, the villagers promised to continue the protest.
The district deputies came to the defense of the Kosivska Polyana village community. The deputies supported the appeal of the village community on the termination of the activities by "Maramorosh" LLC in the Havryshchuk and Rudarnya tracts. The District Council will send the appeals to the President, the Prime Minister, the General Prosecutor, the management of the region.
