Railway workers will allow Ukrainian to transport children without documents

Ukrainians can travel by train with a child without a certificate of birth – informs TSN with the reference to ‘Ukrzaliznytsia’.

On the one hand, ‘Ukrzaliznytsia’ draws attention that passengers with children under 14 should always have with them original documents that confirm the child’s age.

‘Boarding in the wagon without proper documents is prohibited. The presence of travel documents including the presence of the original document that confirms the child’s age, conductor must check when boarding passengers in the train and on the route’ – was said in the message of ‘Ukrzaliznytsia’.

At the same time it indicates that in case of the necessary documents absence in order to avoid conflict situations ‘a head of a train has the right to draw extra charge to children’s ticket for the child’s travel’.

Also ‘Ukrzaliznytsia’ indicates about the necessity to have children’s documents with them, the passengers are warned by ticket cashiers when applying for children’s travel documents and the loudspeaker announces on its necessity at train stations.
