Railway is dangerous in the Transcarpathian region – Prosecutor’s Office

The requirements violation in the part of the roadway maintenance, the balance holders’ signs of road distinction application were revealed during the inspection compliance with the Law of Ukraine ‘On Road Traffic’, ‘On Vehicle Roads’, ‘On Transport’, ‘On the Railway Transport’, which was held by the Transcarpathian transport prosecutor’s office. This was reported by the Senior Assistant of the Transcarpathian Transportation Prosecutor Helena Kaminska, informs the regional prosecutor’s office press service.

The main violation on the ‘Lviv Railway’ gauge distances is a delay in the roadway crossing updates holding, non-performance of the works on the visibility improvement, the bushes cutting-down on the ways to the crossings. The state of roads that are on the local self-government balance and the roads service that do not establish signs ‘Railway crossing with the barrier’, ‘Railway crossing without the barrier’ give rise to concern as well as the highway service workers who do not carry out an axial line and the ‘Stop’ line update in time.
