Several large road traffic accidents, that have occurred recently in Ukraine, have shown that the domestic passenger transportation system needs radical changes. Recall in this regard, the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan instructed the relevant government services and departments to conduct joint raids on Ukrainian roads to prevent the use of faulty vehicles, illegal passenger transportation, other violations, and to eliminate unauthorized bus stations.
Yesterday, such a raid took place in the regional center of Transcarpathia, the Office of the State Labor Service in Transcarpathian region.
As a result of the inspections, they revealed three cases of violation of work and rest schedule by the drivers (the penalty is 340 hryvnias), the same number cases of operation of faulty vehicles. Four drivers did not have permits (the penalty is 1,700 hryvnias). At the same time, two cases of illegal transportation were recorded (the penalty is 17,000 to 34,000 hryvnias). Also, the officials of the State Labor Service Office found one unregistered employee.
Raid inspections will continue.
