Radical slogans have become very popular on these elections

Ivan Stryapko, the assistant professor of political science and public administration department of UzhNU says: "Radical slogans are perceived very positively, so many parties have included them in their programs. Also, all the political forces that declare pro-Ukrainian position, include military officers. This is due to the fact that the army has very high credibility. That has never happened before."

"The events that began nearly a year ago in the country did not affect the candidates who are running for parliament. They are actively using in the election campaign both legal (populism, influencing voters with colors, slogans, etc.) and illegal election technologies. It’s as if the Revolution of Dignity had never happened. They have used vote buying, black PR, etc. Majoritarian candidates have moved over to a new more "advanced" level" – Marianna Kolodiy, political scientist, sociologist, director of the Center for Gender Education at UzhNU commented on this year’s campaign.

According to her, there are some candidates who use all kinds of manipulations. They did not hesitate to use all sorts of mudslinging.  One of the conclusions of this election campaign: because of the large number of manipulative technologies, all the candidates are savvy about this subject, they use services of political technologists, analysts, or at least political scientists. The level of professionalism will grow.
