Quests, flash mobs and excursions instead of line-ups. How the First Bell will be celebrated in Uzhgorod educational institutions

Since the organization of the educational process belongs to the exclusive competence of any given educational institution, the decisions on the celebration of the First Bell were taken by the pedagogical teams independently.

Thus, the date of the First Bell of the 2018-2019 academic year in some Uzhgorod schools coincides with the Day of Knowledge on September 1, in other schools events will take place on September 3. Regular lessons will start on the same day.

Each school decided on the format to celebrate the Day of Knowledge individually. In place of traditional line-ups, other forms of celebration are coming – quests, excursions, flash mobs, visits to library or museum, master classes, photo zones, exhibition of drawings and many more.

This year, 1818 first-graders will go to Uzhgorod schools, – the education department of the Uzhgorod City Council informs.
