Pseudo tax inspectors become active in Transcarpathia

State Tax Service in Transcarpathian region has been informed that since the beginning of tourist season frauds, or pseudo tax inspectors, have become active. Unidentified persons, introducing themselves as employees of tax authorities demand from the managers of tourist and sanatorium facilities to pay fees in order not to be fined, for example, for lacking documents and certificates.
 
State Tax Service in Transcarpathian region urges the citizens to report such facts to the Department of Homeland Security of STS in the region by the phone in Uzhgorod (0312) 61-51-67.
 
We also remind all business entities: before the inspection, a tax authorities official must show an identification document and the direction of the check together with a copy of the order giving permission to carry out the inspection.
