Protests between Slovakia and Hungary

About 240 trucks are involved in the carriers’ protest. 
Protests between Slovakia and Hungary: Truck line stretched over 5.6 km.
“In addition to the weather, which is mainly affecting the east of Slovakia, we are also dealing with the situation regarding the strike of road carriers. About 240 trucks are standing on the R4 expressway in about 5.6 km long line,” – the police said.
Several dozen trucks are also standing on the road 1/17 from the roundabout towards Milhost’.
The police added that officially the strike is to last until 08:00, January 10.
Protesters are demanding that the Slovak Carrier Union adopt changes to the international road haulage business.
Drivers are asked to be careful in the situation on the road.
