Protesters took a time out: Slovak-Ukrainian border is unblocked

Protesters unblocked the checkpoint "Uzhgorod", the road to Slovakia is free, the Prozak informs.

First, one of the protesters, known activist Ivan Danatsko wrote on his page on Facebook: "The checkpoint "Uzhgorod" is free, we are taking a rest and you can cross the border!".

Later, this information was confirmed by carriers that have crossed the checkpoint "Uzhgorod".

The surveillance cameras at the checkpoint also confirm this.

Meanwhile, it was reported that the chairwoman of the parliamentary Committee on Taxation and Customs Policy Nina Yuzhanina met with activists in Kyiv and informed them about the decision to significantly simplify and reduce the cost of vehicle customs clearance. However, the protesters did not meet with the Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, so they promised to continue blocking checkpoints at the state border.
