At last Saturday’s meeting of the Coordinating Council on Local Self-Government under the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Council, which was held online due to the threat of the spread of COVID-19, they discussed the need for immediate provision of medics, law enforcement officers, rescuers, public service workers, etc. with means of personal protection: masks, suits, gloves, goggles.
The possibility of employing tailors for making special protective suits for doctors is being considered in Transcarpathia.
Members of the Coordination Council stressed the importance of complying with quarantine requirements.
Therefore, at the Coordinating Council meeting, sewing companies of the region were urged to immediately develop a mechanism for the production of special personal protection suits for health care workers, to consult with specialists about how to make them as safe and comfortable as possible.
It is planned to have them participate in the next online meeting of the Coordination Council and discuss this issue together, the press service of the Transcarpathian Regional Council informs.
