– A large number of thefts from apartments occurred in the summer season. It is a holiday season, and that’s when thieves are bolder than ever, because owners leave their homes unattended. Most thefts in Transcarpathia this year occur in major cities of Uzhgorod and Mukachevo – the head of the Protection Police in Transcarpathian region Andriy Litovchenko says.
There are various options to protect you homes: bars on the windows, secure locks, fortified door. However, all those methods are not always effective, because, unfortunately, thieves usually have picks to almost all locks.
However, there is another way to protect yourselves from burglars – to set the alarm system of the protection police. Besides, now you can do it with a substantial discount, because the social campaign "Protection for appartment" is being held in the Protection Police Department of Transcarpathia, as well as throughout Ukraine.
Of course, do not forget that criminals tend to operate on a tip. They find out your work schedule, when you leave for vacation. They may also come to your home, posing as employees of municipal companies, etc. Therefore, officers of the Protection Police Department in Transcarpathia urge citizens to be careful and to take care of security in their homes.
