Prosecutors: The adminbuilding of Uzhgorod Post Office was handed over to the “Ukrtelecom” illegally

During the monitoring of court decisions, the prosecutors determined that the decision to transfer the administrative building of the Uzhgorod Post Office had been taken in violation of the law

According to the head of the department for representing the interests of citizens and the state in courts Alla Andreichyk, the regional prosecutor’s office continuously monitors decisions taken by the courts of the region, which could cause significant economic losses to the state, as well as court decisions relating to the illegal takeover of enterprises, institutions and organizations.

Thus, in the course of such monitoring, it was found out that, in violation of substantive and procedural law, Uzhgorod city and district court adopted the resolution, whereby it upheld the administrative claim of the "Ukrtelecom" JSC and canceled certificate of title of Uzhgorod post office to the office building with a total area of ​​over 3600 square meters on Poshtova Square in Uzhgorod.

 Therefore, the regional prosecutor’s office appealed against the said resolution of Uzhgorod city district court at the Lviv Administrative Court of Appeal.
