Prosecutors started investigating into the arrangement of the terrace and the seizure of the land in the center of Uzhgorod

Prosecutors of Uzhgorod initiated an inspection and submission of information on the illegalconstruction of the cafe terrace in the pedestrian zone on Fedynets street in the regional center tothe Unified registry of pre-trial investigations.
According to Uzhgorod City Prosecutor Ivan Shtefanyuk, the Prosecutor’s Office ordered theUzhgorod city police department and the State Inspectorate for Agriculture in Transcarpathian regionto investigate the construction and seizure of the land that belongs to the territorial community ofUzhgorod.
The results of the investigation will be announced after its implementation. Uzhgorod prosecutorskeep the verification of the legitimacy of the terrace construction under control.
