Transcarpathian regional prosecutors began large-scale inspections at the state executive bodies and local authorities on the implementation of measures on economical and efficient use of public funds provided for the maintenance of public authorities and other public bodies, enterprises, institutions and organizations that use the state budget funds approved by the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On saving public funds and prevent loss budget" № 65 dd. 01.03.2014, which has entered into force.
It was established that the distribution of subsidies from the state budget to local budgets for activities related to socio-economic development of certain areas had been made in violation of the budget law.
In addition, the State Financial Inspection in Transcarpathian region, together with the regional prosecutor’s office, agreed on control measures on the reliability of accounts payable of managers and recipients of the state budget funds to pay for goods and services covered by the Law of Ukraine "On Public Procurement" .
