Prosecutors disclosed the fact of embezzlement of state property at 440,000 UAH

Prosecutors of the Western region of Ukraine for supervision over the observance of laws in the military sphere, exposed the embezzlement of the state property of the State Enterprise "Transcarpathian helicopter production association" totaling more than 440,000 UAH by officers who abused their office

Transcarpathian prosecutors for supervision over the observance of laws in the military sphere in Western Ukraine have opened the criminal proceeding on the fact of embezzlement of state property in a large scale in the amount of 443,897 UAH by officials of the State Enterprise "Transcarpathian helicopter production association" through abuse of office.

The criminal proceeding was opened on the grounds of crime under Part 5 of Art. 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (embezzlement in a large scale through abuse of office). The law provides for punishment for the offense in the form of imprisonment for a term of seven to twelve years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term of up to three years and confiscation of property.

The crime was registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations.

The procedural control in the criminal proceeding is carried out by the Transcarpathian prosecution for supervision over the observance of laws in the military sphere in Western Ukraine.
