Prosecutors are investigation the abuse of power during the reconstruction of Narodna Square (officially)

The investigation into the misappropriation of public funds during the performance of the reconstruction of Narodna Square has been initiated 

The prosecutors of Transcarpathian region provide procedural control in the criminal proceedings initiated over the fact of misappropriation of public funds during the performance of works on the reconstruction of Narodna Square in Uzhgorod.

Note: Part 3 of Art.191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – Misappropriation, embezzlement, or obtaining of property by malpractice committed repeatedly or by prior conspiracy, – shall be punishable by restraint of liberty for a term of three to five years, or imprisonment for a term of three to eight years, with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to three years.
