Prosecutors are checking aggressive traffic policemen

The prosecutor’s office initiated a pre-trial investigation on abuse of power or authority by officers of the Traffic Police.

Recently, in the Internet a video appeared, which shows unlawful actions of traffic policemen in Transcarpathian region.

Also, the participant of the said video himself – a resident of Vynogradiv district – has filed the appropriate complaint with law enforcement.

Therefore, June 5, the investigator of Transcarpathian prosecutor’s office to oversee the observance of laws in the transport sector registered the said fact in the Unified register of pre-trial investigation, and initiated pre-trial investigation into the criminal offense under Part 2 of Art. 365 of the CC of Ukraine.

 Prosecutor’s office ensured the control over the pre-trial investigation.
