Prosecutor’s office verifies the facts that were set out in the program ‘Money’

The reportage ‘Roulette under the peak cap’ which is about the gambling business in Mukachevo was broadcast in the program ‘Money’ on the channel 1+1 on June 27.

In the TV show pieces were highlighted the facts of implementation in the town of Mukachevo illegal gambling businesses gambling businesses and its covering by the law enforcement officers. Currently, the Transcarpathian region Prosecutor’s Office conducts inspections under these facts in accordance with Article 97 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Supervisory authorities have already sent inquiries on the establishment of owners’ buildings and entrepreneurs engaged in the illegal activities in the institutions displayed in the story. About the results of inspection and the Prosecutor’s decision will be announced.     

At the same time the investigating department of Mukachevo Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Transcarpathian region is already held a criminal case, instituted by the fact of gambling businesses’ occupation in the basements of Mukachevo – informs the press office of the Transcarpathian region Prosecutor’s Office.
