Prosecutors of Uzhgorod, as part of the supervision over the observance and application of laws, audited the SHEI "Uzhgorod National University" for compliance with the Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education".
The audit found a number of violations, particularly failure to pay privileged graduates, being orphans and children deprived of parental care, one-time financial assistance upon employment in amount of 6 times subsistence minimum, equal to 7,308 UAH.
In order to realize the rights of privileged children to receive the said benefits, prosecutors inform that graduates of this category should appeal to higher educational institutions as prescribed by law.
